Learn Riichi Mahjong, one tile at a time

Riichi is Japanese four-player Mahjong: build a winning hand, read your opponents and decide when to push or defend. Our introductory course starts with the tiles and works toward your first real hand.

Short lessons and interactive checks introduce hand structure, calls, yaku, riichi, furiten and scoring. Optional tile guides help you recognise the suits and honors.
